Animal Storytime Lesson Plans
Storytime lesson plans about animals are perfect for year around, so if you’re stuck thinking about a theme – you can always pick an animal! They’re also a great starting point for introducing nonfiction text into storytime with basic books filled with facts about a specific animal. And remember, you don’t have to read an entire book cover to cover, in fact, introducing nonfiction by sharing just a page or two is a great way to demonstrate how to effectively use nonfiction with the littlest of readers.
