Marching, marching
We are the dinosaurs

Laurie Berkner’s chart-topping, beloved hit “We Are the Dinosaurs” is now a picture book! Featuring an adorable cast of characters and vibrant, playful art by Ben Clanton, We Are the Dinosaurs transports readers back in time to when the dinosaurs roamed the earth.” (Taken from Goodreads)

Review: Five adorable dino friends are off on an adventure as they march , stomp, eat, and rest as Laurie Berkner’s popular dino song it paired with adorable illustrations of some pretty funny dinosaurs.

Personal Reaction: Laurie Berkner is one of those kid musicians who are not only fun to listen to, but you’ll find yourself humming or singing her songs hours later! This is a fun book that brings her song to life in a different format and would be fun to share in a dionsaur storytime as you play the music and “read” the book at the same time!

#blogbookaday (1)This is a new idea I’m trying on my blog this year that was inspired by @donalynbooks and @heisereads – to provide a brief review of a picture book every day of 2018. You’ll get a brief summary of the story, a review of the content, illustrations and theme, my personal reaction to the book and all the pertinent publication information! Enjoy!
