It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 9/19/16

19 Sep

I’m was clearly in need of some massive amounts of reading because I’m feeling a lot less tired, stressed and crazy  and have been reading a heck of a lot more than I have pretty much all summer. This past week, I read Full of Beans by Jennifer L. Holm, Summer of Sloane by Erin L. Schneider and Fearsome Creatures of the Lumberwoods: Twenty Chilling Tales from the Wilderness by Hal J0hnson.  It’s felt so good to read through these books and like I said, it was greatly needed.

This upcoming week, I’m going to work on Every Single Second by Tricia Springstubb which I just picked up yesterday, I also just put on hold Burn, Baby, Burn by Meg Medina a title on the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature longlist, and Just a Drop of Water by Kerry O’Malley Cerra – a book suggested to me in the comments section of my blog.

imwayrJoin Jen from Teach Mentor Texts and Kellee and Ricki from Unleashing Readers and share all of the reading you have done over the week from picture books to young adult novels. Follow the links to read about all of the amazing books the #IMWAYR community has read. It’s the best way to discover what to read next.
