Story Time Theme: Red

Today was our last storytime of the session and although I absolutely love storytime, this session has been rough!  I don’t know what it was – the kids, adults, some combination of the two, but it seemed out of control each and every week.  We’re changing the schedule a little bit for the winter and I hope it helps my storytime crowd as well as the others.  This week we focused on the color “red” and parents remembered to dress in red, which made the kids so excited!  I’ll be making some changes for the winter – adding even more interactive books to try and encourage the kids to pay attention, adding more high-energy music as well.
