Children’s Choice Book Awards

Kids and teens can vote for the 7th Annual Children’s & Teen Choice Book Awards from March 25 through May 12th for their favorite author, illustrator, and book of the  year.  This is the only national award created where winning titles are selected by children and teens.  Vote by visiting the Children’s Choice Book Awards website!  Many states have their own unique awards, but this is the only national award – which is pretty cool!  Kids love taking charge of their own choices and what a great way to get kids interested in books.  I’m thinking this would be a great program for next year, when I have a little time to plan.  Take a look at the finalists in each category:
