Storytime Theme: Letter M
We’re halfway through the alphabet with the Letter M storytime lesson plan! The Letter M has been one of the easier letters to create a storytime around – there’s just so many great words – monster, money, money, moon, mail, Mars, mommy, and more. In fact, there were so many great words, I didn’t even use all the easiest ones out there. I mean, there are probably hundreds of picture books about mommies alone.
I have plenty of lesson plans all about themes that are about things that start with the Letter M, like measurement, mice, mountains, music, and more. Like I said, there are so many great Letter M words, you can’t go wrong with this storytime lesson plan that works for library storytimes, childcare and preschool curriculums, or even in early elementary school classrooms, like in Kindergarten.
