Storytime Theme: Taste
This is the fourth lesson plan in a five-part series for preschoolers to learn more about their five senses! Combining fiction and nonfiction titles, kids will learn about taste buds, the different types of flavors, and all about trying new foods. I’m adding a little warning to this post because all of the activities do involve food, so make sure that your little ones don’t have any dietary restrictions or allergies to the materials you provide for the program, before you start!
This would also make a great lesson plan for a simple STEM program for preschoolers at a PreK classroom, library, or at home. Combine this lesson plan with a few science “experiments” using your taste for a complete program.
