Storytime Theme: Smelling
This is the third lesson plan in a five-part series for preschoolers to learn more about their five senses! Combining fiction and nonfiction titles, kids will learn about their noses and smelling, what noses do, how different noses look, and so much more! Plus, there are a handful of songs, rhymes, crafts, and activities to round out the lesson plan or to extend learning beyond the books.
This would also make a great lesson plan for a simple STEM program for preschoolers at a PreK classroom, library, or at home. Combine this lesson plan with a few science “experiments” using your ears for a complete program.
