2024 Blogging A to Z Challenge: Young Adult

Today I want to share a specifically focused book list of young adult adventure titles. And while I’ve sprinkled a few throughout the other lists for this month, many amazing young adult titles are just perfect for adventure readers. These titles are geared toward older kids (typically 13 and up), an age when many are too busy to choose reading as a way to fill the little free time they have. But, with these titles, teens will keep coming back for more because they are exciting reads, many of which are the first in the series giving teens an automatic next book on their TBR list.

There are also a lot of adults who read YA literature because they enjoy the writing so much, so if you’re looking for your next read, why not try one of these titles below. I find that I really enjoy YA books when I get the chance to read them and some of my favorites are on this list!

Etiquette & Espionage by Gail Carriger

2024 is my ninth year participating in the Blogging A to Z Challenge. This year, I chose as my theme: Adventurous Readers with a focus on providing book lists focused on all types of adventures for readers from birth to teens. Each letter of the alphabet will focus on different sub-genres or age groups and will provide twelve titles of books. This theme coincides well with the summer reading theme for many libraries which is “Adventure Begins at Your Library” and no matter what type of books the kids in your life like, there is sure to be something they’ll find interesting over the course of the month.
