It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 2/22/2021
What I Read
Well, I’m 3/4 of the way through two books, so I guess that’s good? It was a really busy week, so my reading life got pushed to the back burner just a bit. My sister is getting married in June and we spent the long weekend trying to get a lot of wedding things done. She lives out in Colorado, but is getting married at my parents’ home in western PA.
So, we spent the long weekend, getting her dress fitted, working on wedding decor, taste testing, and crossing off a lot of to-do things. I’m hoping to finish up both books early this week and maybe even have time to read another titler or too!
I’m going to wait until I’m done reading both to write up my mini-reviews. But for now, I’ve got about 60 pages left of The Losers at the Center of the Galaxy by Mary Winn Heider and I’m listening to Three Keys by Kelly Yang.
What I’m Planning to Read
I’d love to finally get to Scavenge the Stars by Tara Sim. I have the second title as an ARC, but I want to read the first one, so I know what’s happening! And then I think I’ll leave myself some space to discover something new. I’ve learned that I work well with having some titles planned and some room for adjustments too!
I’m continuing to shout out a different Black creator every day on my Instagram during the month of February. So you’ll definitely want to pop over there and take a look! There are so many amazing books to share!
