It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 10/19/2020
What I Read
It was a bit of a week – a few unexpected things popped up and I worked on our first Saturday open to the public which cut into my weekend reading time a bit! Unfortunately, I was so exhausted most nights, I didn’t even crack open a book, let alone read one. So, I’m halfway through Quintessence by Jess Redman and I’m really intrigued by this fantasy story that bring together unexpected friends to save a Starling. And that’s all I’ve read!
What I’m Planning to Read
So, I’ve still got most of my list from last week because I didn’t read much. This week, I’m tackling – Cinderella Is Dead by Kalynn Bayron, and Izzy Newton and the S.M.A.R.T. Squad: Absolute Hero by Valerie Tripp. If I’m feeling extra productive in the reading department, I might also try and page through Think for Yourself: The Ultimate Guide to Critical Thinking In an Age of Information Overload by Andrea Debbink and Aaron Meshon.
I’ve also just unpacked a box of ARCs from Hachette, that I’m excited to check out a little more. So, keep your eyes open for an “unboxing” post later this week!
