Wings of Fire Read Alikes

While I may not be the first person to pick up a book with a dragon on the cover. I’m always surprised by how much I like the fantastical aspects of the stories when I read them. The Wings of Fire series is one of our most popular book series for kids in our library and even with more than 15 titles in the series and a a graphic novel adaptation, kids breeze through these books and are often looking for something else to enjoy!

That brings me to today’s blog post. The Wings of Fire series is full of action and adventure (and of course, dragons), so I wanted to give readers a little bit of that in these books. While not all of them are strictly about dragons, I think I provided enough dragon-related stories to keep even the most intense dragon fans happy. But, I also wanted to share some other stories that I think Wings of Fire fans would enjoy too, like The Mad Wolf’s Daughter and Where the Mountain Meets the Moon.

Dragon Pearl by Yoon Ha Lee
