Storytime Theme: Letter U

I’ll be honest, the end of the alphabet gets a little trickier with some letters that are not so easy to find picture books for, but I will persevere because after this week there are only five more letters left! I can’t believe it! Today’s letter was difficult, no doubt about it, but you can find some great books about umbrellas, unicorns, and underwear. I then stretched it a little bit with books on uppercase letters, going up, and the planet, Uranus.

But, as usual these are merely suggestions and a jumping off point. A whole storytime about unicorns would be easy to plan and welcome amongst your attendees. You could even do an opposites storytime about over and under or up and down. Find what works for you, I hope that this list helps you get there!
