Storytime Theme: Letter L
One of my most favorite letters of the alphabet… Letter L! Seeing as it’s the first letter of my name and the name of my blog, it’s no wonder it’s one of my favorite letters. And there are a TON of different words that you can use to create a storytime lesson plan for this letter. You can focus on animals like llamas, lambs, lizards, lions, and ladybugs. Or focus on places like libraries and labs. Or incorporate a fall theme with leaves. There are so many good words for this letter.
As always, maybe you focus on the letter L, or maybe you feel inspired by one of the books on the list and create a whole theme based on that one book. Inspiration strikes in many different ways, so find the parts of this lesson plan that excite you and use those. Because if you don’t take anything else from this post, it’s to be excited about the storytimes you create. It’s more exciting to you and in turn, more exciting to the kids that you work with!
