Storytime Theme: Letter A
I’m starting a new line of storytime themes focused on each letter of the alphabet! So from now through the end of the year, every Monday I’m be sharing a new letter of the alphabet with a lesson plan that focuses on words and themes that fit the “letter of the day.”
I want to be able to provide the typical ideas for each letter, but also stretch the letter beyond the typical words that you would remember. So below, you’ll find books about ants, apples, and alligators, but you’ll also find books about art, anger, and aquariums too! This is a great way to build a child’s background knowledge which is a key tool in building early literacy skills.
Make sure to stop by weekly to find new lesson plans for each letter of the alphabet!
