Storytime Theme: Rocks
Now, before we you bypass this storytime all together, you might be surprised to find out that there are some really amazing picture books about rocks out there! This is a great (and simple) STEM lesson plan that would be a lot of fun for preschoolers as well as toddlers and early elementary school age kids. You can take time to talk about what kids know about rocks, spend time describing what rocks look and feel like, and use rocks to create fun art projects too.
