2024 Blogging A to Z Challenge: Imaginative

Imagination is a gift once must have when writing and these authors are full of it. With stories of games, zombies, spies, history brought to life, and an overnight in Ikea, the imagination knows no bounds! I enjoy creating lists such as this one when you pull together books that you might not normally see on the same list together. It allows readers a chance to learn about new titles and authors as well as stories they might not be expecting.

Take time to explore this list of imaginative tales, especially if you’ve got a reader who loves video games, many of the titles listed below are either game-related or feel like a game when reading them. And maybe you’ll find a new favorite book for one of your readers!

2024 is my ninth year participating in the Blogging A to Z Challenge. This year, I chose as my theme: Adventurous Readers with a focus on providing book lists focused on all types of adventures for readers from birth to teens. Each letter of the alphabet will focus on different sub-genres or age groups and will provide twelve titles of books. This theme coincides well with the summer reading theme for many libraries which is “Adventure Begins at Your Library” and no matter what type of books the kids in your life like, there is sure to be something they’ll find interesting over the course of the month.
