Storytime Theme: Ocean Adventure
Spending time over and under the waves is a surefire way to find adventure! With this year’s summer reading theme being “Adventure Beings at Your Library,” I wanted to make sure we have lots of great suggestions early in the year! This storytime lesson plan works well for an adventure-theme program but could work just as well for preparing for a trip to the beach (or “down the shore” from where I come from!). Explore animals, plants, and more with these great fiction and nonfiction read alouds, plus adorable songs, rhymes, crafts, and activities!
