Storytime Theme: Outdoor Adventure
I’m going to be sharing six new storytime lesson plans this month all about different types of adventures. In fact, you’ll be seeing even more book lists and programs highlighting adventure in the next few months as that is one of the common themes for summer reading this year – “Adventure Begins at Your Library.”
Today’s lesson plan focuses on outdoor adventure – camping, exploring, hiking, playing outside, and being wild! These are fun, imaginative stories that are sure to get you up and moving and wanting to enjoy the great outdoors! And with nicer weather around the corner, it’s the perfect time to start getting outside! Enjoy!

any chance you can tell us what the other adventure themes are going to be, broadly of course. I’m trying to plan ahead for summer and need a little more inspiration.

The next few themes are going to be travel, friendship, imagination, and adventures at night!
