Storytime Theme: Butterflies
How have I been doing storytime for years and never posted a butterfly theme? This seems like an obvious choice and I’ve read butterfly books within my bug theme, but I guess I’ve never highlighted them alone! There are so many great books about butterflies and this theme could easily become a STEM-focused program if you were interested. I wanted to provide at least a couple of nonfiction titles for this list – remember you don’t have to read every page, you can easily pull out a book to share a few facts and that’s okay too.
Whether you go for a traditional storytime or create something a little different, I hope you’ll find something you love in this lesson plan.
