Top Ten Tuesday: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2024

There are so many great books being published this year, my list doesn’t even get past February, let alone May and June! I decided to focus on young adult and middle grade titles, searching for books that caught my eye. I also tried to grab a little bit of everything from historical fiction to contemporary fiction, fantasy to romance, and a graphic novel too! And with a few already out in the world, I’ve got to get started reading this year!

Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2024

Amil and the After by Veera Hiranandani

Arya Khanna’s Bollywood Moment by Arushi Avachat

Shaadi preparations are in full swing, which means lehenga shopping, taste testing, dance rehearsals, and best of all, Arya’s sister Alina is home. The Khannas are together again, finally, and Arya wants to enjoy it. (Okay, maybe enjoy isn’t exactly right.)

Finding Normal by Stephanie Faris

At home, things aren’t any better as her family struggles to adjust while figuring out how they can afford to rebuild.

When Temple sees a flyer for a local fundraiser, she decides she can do the same thing for her family. It would get her one big step closer to her old school, friends, and life. After enlisting the help of some new friends, Temple kicks her plan into action, quickly realizing it needs to be much bigger to help not only her family, but the dozens of others affected by the flood.

But adding the pressures of the fundraiser to the strain of grappling with all the recent changes may be more than Temple can handle. As she searches for a return to normal, can she figure out what’s truly important?

The Getaway List by Emma Lord

Okay, Cupid by Mason Deaver

The Partition Project by Saadia FAruqi
