Storytime Theme: Wheels
Going in a little bit of a different direction than the typical “Things That Go” storytime, today I focused more on wheels which was really fun! I tried to find some creative books with wheels in them like bicycles and tricycles, plus a tuk-tuk! Kids will be familiar with and love many of these great stories and will have fun moving and creating with rhymes, songs, and craft ideas too. Whether you take this lesson plan and spread it out across a week-long curriculum or you pick and choose what works best for your library or home environment, I hope you find something that makes kids love the books you chose!
