Storytime Theme: Whales
To coincide with the Summer Reading theme: Oceans of Possibilities, I thought I’d share a whale storytime theme! Whales are magnificent creatures – so book and so graceful. I’d also take a look at incorporating a YouTube video into this program to share whale songs. Or you can make this a STEM program by creating a blubber experiment for kids as well! Although I didn’t include any nonfiction on this list, there are some great nonfiction titles that you can easily include as part of this storytime.
