Storytime Theme: Construction
It’s been a hot minute since I created a construction storytime theme. Because it’s such a popular topic for little ones, I knew it was time to create an updated storytime theme. With a lot of different ways to go, you can focus on the building, the tools, or even the trucks. My nephew is one of those kids who LOVES anything on wheels, so this is right up his alley!
You don’t have to use this post directly as written. If you’re a school teacher or librarian, take the pieces you like and leave the rest. If you’re a parent, use this as a jumping off point to add some extension activities to your read aloud time. Kids love to learn and explore and by combining songs, crafts, and activities you’re allowing them to grow!
