It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 11/15/2021
What I Read
Well, the best-laid plans! I was planning to be off from Thursday – Sunday this week and was super excited to work on some blogging ideas and get a lot of reading done! But, unfortunately, I had a few staffing situations that required me to head back into the library both on Friday and Saturday! Thankfully, I didn’t have to stick around all day, but it definitely cut into my plans.
I finished Tips for Magicians by Celesta Rimington and really enjoyed it. It was really well balanced between realism and that hint of magic that I always enjoy. I’m also a huge fan of any book with a great cast of characters and a really well-developed setting, which this book did so well!
My hold on People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry came in, so I stayed up way too late finishing this one. And for me, it was worth the wait. I liked how the story moved between the present day and the past and I’m a sucker for contemporary romances.
What I’m Planning to Read
I’m not sure what’s on the docket for this week yet. I’m finishing up my blog’s 2021 Gift Guide and I’m working late a few nights as well, so I’ll see what strikes me as interesting when I get to the library this morning. I’ve got a bunch of middle grade books that I haven’t read yet this year, so maybe I’ll pick up one of those!
