National Cat Day Book List
It’s National Cat Day! As a librarian, you would assume I’m a cat person and don’t get me wrong I love cats, but I’m actually a dog person. Granted, as a kid, the only reason we had a cat was that I begged my parents long enough that we finally got one. And honestly, my dad is not a fan of cats at all and was the only person our cat would willingly walk up to and ask for scratches. Typically, the cat would hide under the dust ruffle of my bed or my sister’s and would swat at our feet as we climbed into bed at night!
That being said, it would be remiss for me to ignore National Cat Day. Here are 16 picture books that are perfect titles to share for National Cat Day or any day you want to celebrate these tricky, sweet little balls of fur!
