9 Young Adult Books for National Cooking Day

It’s National Cooking Day and this is one holiday that I couldn’t ignore! I think most of you know how much I enjoy spending time in my kitchen cooking. I love finding flavorful recipes and sharing them with the people I love. In fact, I think Penzeys Spices has one of the best sayings, “Love People, Cook Them Tasty Food.”

My partner and I try to balance our meals focusing on eating at least half our dinners without meat. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how many different things I’ve tried and really liked! Some of our favorite recipes are Thai-inspired with curry paste and coconut milk. And what’s great about recipes like this, you can use whatever veggies you have on hand!

Today’s list is full of YA titles that also have recipes included! I’m always a fan of food-themed books, especially when they have recipes. I don’t necessarily get to cook or bake the recipes, but I love the possibility of doing so.
