It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 9/13/2021
What I Read
In the past two weeks, I’ve only read two books. It’s been super busy at work. Our ILS had an upgrade and data migration going on for about a week and that wasn’t too bad. But, coming out of that, there were so many issues with data not aligning properly. I spent many hours at work trying to clean up data and am still finding a lot more issues that I’ve got to deal with this week. Plus, I had to work Saturday, and our hours have increased to 10-5 which is then a whole day!
Anyway, I read The Total Eclipse of Nestor Lopez by Adrianna Cuevas. Nestor Lopez was a fun Cuban mythology that I really enjoyed. Kids who like Rick Riordan’s books will most likely enjoy this title too. And then I read The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory. I’m likely these easy to read, contemporary romances because they’re fun and let me escape for a little bit.
What I’m Planning to Read
I’m not sure what I’m going to read next, I’ll have to see what I find at work and what strikes me as interesting! I’m hoping to read a few newer chapter books that I can use as part of a presentation later this month, plus there were a few middle grade titles that caught my eye over the weekend!
