9 Titles for Football Season

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not really into sports at all. Most don’t really hold my attention, especially football – it just takes so long! I can definitely watch hockey, only because it moves so much faster. That being said, I know so many kids who are sports-focused, many of whom are not into reading as much. These kids live and breathe playing sports with their friends – practicing on a team, playing pickup games, all sports, all the time.

But, if you’re trying to get these types of kids interested in reading a book, that can be a lot to ask. The easiest way to get a kid excited about reading, finding something they’re passionate about! And that’s how today’s book list was born. There are some really exciting, page-turning football books out there for kids to read, or for you to read aloud as a family. Typically, I try to alphabetize my book list, but today’s list is listed more in terms of age level instead with easier books leading into chapter books, middle grade novels, and a YA novel too!

The days are getting shorter and soon the leaves will be changing and there will be that coolness in the air – it’s football season. Take a look at these 9 titles for football season!
