12 Read Alikes for Dog Man Fans
Our library has multiple (as in at least three) copies of every Dog Man book by Dav Pilkey. And it’s not uncommon to have them all checked out at one time. And to me, it’s so exciting! It’s exciting to see kids that are literally jumping up and down when they find a Dog Man book they haven’t read yet.
Once in a while, a kid is ready to branch out into something new. Either they’ve read all the Dog Man books a thousand times or a parent is gently nudging them to try a new series. The hard part is finding something they’re as excited to read as Dog Man. Today I’m sharing 12 read alikes for Dog Man fans. I’d say most kids who are reading Dog Man are also familiar with Dav Pilkey’s other very popular series, Captain Underpants. If not, that’s a great place to start!
