It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 8/2/2021
What I Read
It has been another busy week and at this point, I shouldn’t be surprised. I think every week is a busy week! I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before, but we’re short-staffed at the library which has left me working many Saturdays which has definitely cut into my reading on the weekends.
This week I was in the middle of reading Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo, but then my hold for Namesake by Adrienne Young came in, so I switched over to read that first. And honestly, it was almost as good as Fable. There was a lot going on in the second book, but I think it came together well. I loved both of them and realized that I love a book with a boat setting. What I’m Planning to Read
I’m definitely ready to finish up Shadow and Bone this week and I want to read Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo. Then, it might be time to check back in with some middle grade novels. I seem to always want a little something different in July. I’ll have to see what we’ve got at the library that I can grab to have on hand.
