Slice of Life Day 21: Sundays are for Chores
I’ve been working a lot of Saturdays lately. The past three Saturdays in a row, in fact. And I’m realizing that the house is slowly falling into disarray because of it. I normally have the whole weekend to work on cleaning up the house. But working from 10-5 has thrown a wrench into my typical schedule. I guess that means Sundays are for chores.
I’ve already posted about how much I love folding laundry, not. And the house needs to be dusted, vacuumed, and mopped. The bathroom needs to be wiped down and the kitchen too. Plus, what’s with all the piles? Where do they come from? And how do you get rid of them? I’ve already got the meals planned and grocery shopping done, so maybe today I’ll actually get the house cleaned.
Sundays are for chores.
This is my third year participating in the Slice of Life Challenge. I’ll be sharing brief posts that show a glimpse of my life in story-format. I hope you enjoy just a slice of my life as a librarian, book lover, and blogger!
