Slice of Life Day 11: Women’s History Month
I’m spending the month of March celebrating Women’s History Month by sharing biographies about women on Instagram. Picture book biographies are huge in publishing right now. We’re learning more about men and women that we’ve never even heard of before which is really exciting. Plus, we’re getting really great, accessible titles about well-known figures as well.
It’s been really great creating and promoting amazing books about really strong women in all sorts of fields – science, arts, activists, and more. I love scanning the bookshelves at work and checking out book lists online to find awesome books to share with my readers. I’m even discovering some new titles that I’ve never seen before either!
