12 Picture Books Titles About Sloths
Is there anything cuter than a sloth? They’re like sleepy little cuddly balls of fur! When I think about how slowly they move throughout the jungle, I’m honestly shocked that they haven’t become extinct. They’re kind of mysterious and I think that’s also what I love about them! Today I’m sharing 12 Picture Books Titles About Sloths.
Shockingly, there aren’t as many kid’s books out there about these cute little animals! But, between picture books and nonfiction titles, you can get a really great sense of who these animals are. Many parents forget to incorporate nonfiction titles into their read aloud time. And there are so many great nonfiction titles out there – especially for young kids. What could be better for little ones who are constantly asking questions?
Remember, you don’t have to read a whole book cover to cover. Many nonfiction titles lend themselves to this style of reading – where you pick a page or two to share and then move on to something else. The other thing I love about the nonfiction titles on this list are that they’re for emerging readers which means they have a limited vocabulary and very little text making them perfect for young kids too!
