Storytime Theme: Mittens
Looking for inspiration this morning and I found it as I got ready to walk my pup! I have specific dog-walking mittens that are worn out and a little grungy from 5 years of winter walks. But, they keep my hands warm and that’s the most important thing! Rather than focusing on all the great winter clothing – I decided to focus just on mittens and found some great books!
I didn’t realize there are a few versions of the book I know as adapted by Jan Brett. These would make a great program to talk about storytelling and how stories change throughout the years. Or, check out some of these other great books for a perfect winter-themed storytime!
And if you’re looking for a cool activity for a classroom, library, or at home, check out this adorable bulletin board we did a few years ago!
