It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 8/10/2020
Last Week
A Wish In the Dark by Christina Soontornvat was so, so, so good! It’s probably one of my favorites for this year! Again, it’s been another week of very little reading, but this book was so engaging. Even when I could barely keep my eyes open, I’d try to read just a few pages and it was wonderful. This is a book I would definitely recommend!
Reading List for Week of 8/10/2020
I just started You Should See Me In a Crown by Leah Johnson and I’m already loving the premise of the story. A senior in high school is ready to escape her small town and all she needs is a scholarship to the perfect college. When the scholarship falls through, she must choose to run for Prom Queen and in doing so earn a scholarship for just enough money to get to college. But what will it take for a “fly-under-the-radar” girl to become the prom queen?
I’ve also been meaning to read Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo for years now and I finally snagged it from the library the other day. Now to find the energy to read 450+ page book!
