Top Ten Tuesday: Book Festivals I’d Love to Go to Someday
I’ve been to a handful of book festivals in my life and I absolutely love them! Being surrounded by people with the same passion is truly invigorating. Some of the book festivals on my list, I’ve been to before, but’s its been a few years. And a few are festivals I’ll most likely never get a chance to attend, but still sound absolutely amazing!
Top Ten Tuesday: Book Festivals I’d Love to Go to Someday
- Middle Ground Book Fest
An all-virtual book festival for middle grade authors that will be live on YouTube August 1-2. I just wrote about this festival the other day on my blog! - Library of Congress National Book Festival
I attended this for a number of years when I lived in Maryland, but once they moved it indoors and to Labor Day weekend, I haven’t had a chance to check it out. - Children’s Book Festival – Princeton
I’ve been attending this festival for a few years now and it’s always a great time filled with awesome authors and illustrators and hosted by the Princeton Public Library. - BookExpo
I’ve gone up to NYC for a day trip to BookExpo a few times in the past and it’s always a fun event. - African American Children’s Book Fair
This book fair is literally in my backyard – Philadelphia! It usually falls on the same day that I have a big program at work, so I can’t get down to the city. - Gaithersburg Book Festival
I’ve heard of this book festival from blogs and podcasts and it’s close enough that I could drive to check it out for the weekend. - Brooklyn Book Festival
Another book festival, I’ve heard amazing things about – I’d love to get up to Brooklyn to check out this event, especially Children’s Day! - Los Angeles Times Festival of Books
I have some family that live in L.A. and would love to fly into town to see family and check out this festival! - Texas Book Festival
As the old adage goes, “Everything’s bigger in Texas!” and I would love to see this book festival. - Bologna Children’s Book Fair
I will most likely never get the chance to attend this amazing event, but I’ve heard authors, agents, and publishing reps talk about it and it sounds fabulous!
