12 Books All About Tree Houses
It’s an absolutely gorgeous day today. The sun is shining, the sky is a bright blue with puffy white clouds, and the birds are chirping. It’s the perfect day to spend in a tree house.
I judge many a tree on whether or not it would make a good “tree house” tree. Broad limbs spaced far enough apart to support, yet not get in the way, high enough to feel impressive, but not too scary, and a canopy of leaves to shade and hide your tree house from the neighbors. Growing up, my dad built us a tree house in the backyard. Our was much more of a platform among the trees than actually built in a tree (not great “tree house” trees), but we loved that little oasis.
You might not have the right type of trees or even a backyard for a tree house and that’s okay too. The next best thing? A blanket fort in the living room!
Today, I’m sharing 12 books all about tree houses – enjoy!
