Storytime Theme: Perspective
Perspective may not be an easy concept to teach toddlers and preschoolers, but what better audience? Toddlers and preschoolers have their own unique perspective based on where they are developmentally, they’re view of the world from how tall they are, it’s all perspective.
So when I was having trouble gaining perspective during the coronavirus, I thought, “why not grab some books that challenge perspective?” And they make great read alouds for a storytime theme about perspective. Yes, even the wordless picture book!
