Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’ve Abandoned (or almost abandoned)
For many years, I felt the need to finish a book if I started it. Now, I’m much more lenient about letting go of a book that doesn’t grab me in the first 50 pages or so. I figure that either I can come back to it at another time or it’s just not the book for me. I notoriously don’t finish trilogies as I usually love the first book and then get frustrated sometime after with the rest. There are thousands of books being published every year, they can’t all be what I like to read. And that’s okay because there’s probably someone out there who’s the perfect reader for that book.

I managed to make it through A Corner of White, and the sequel, but couldn’t bring myself to read the final book š Wicked is another one that I tried some years ago and never made it past the first chapter…
