Top Ten Tuesday: Chapter Books I Love
Today was a love freebie for today’s Top Ten Tuesday post, so rather than go with the love feeling, I decided to share some chapter books that I love! Chapter books are not middle grade novels. Chapter books are the perfect books for kids who are successfully reading easy readers and are ready to graduate to “big kid” books. They usually hover between 150-200 pages with lots of illustrations and usually a larger font size. I selected ten titles with kick-butt female characters because I couldn’t select just a few of them!
Top Ten Tuesday: Chapter Books I Love
- Beatrice Zinker, Upside Down Thinker by Shelley Johannes
- Dory Fantasmagory by Abby Hanlon
- Jada Jones: Rock Star by Kelly Starling Lyons
- Jasmine Toguchi, Mochi Queen by Debbi Michiko Florence
- Meet Yasmin by Saadia Faruqi

- The Princess in Black by Shannon & Dean Hale
- Princess Pulverizer: Grilled Cheese and Dragons by Nancy E. Krulik
