Four on Friday: Jackie Robinson
Today is Jackie Robinson’s birthday! I can’t think of a better way to usher in Black History month than celebrating Jackie Robinson’s achievements. Robinson made history by being the first African American baseball player to play in the Major Leagues. With an impressive, albeit short career in the majors, Robinson was abducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962. Learn more about Jackie Robinson from today’s Four on Friday: Jackie Robinson book list!
