It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 1/27/2020
Last Week
I veered off track this past week with my reading! I always have the best-laid plans, but sometimes you just have to grab life by the horns and go for it. First, I read Throw Like a Girl by Sarah Henning which was a fun contemporary romance set on the football field. I also read my way through The Deep & Dark Blue by Niki Smith a graphic novel about twins on a mission to avenge their families. Followed by another graphic novel, The Oracle Code by Marieke Nijkamp published by DC Comics about Barbara Gordon. I also read a fun chapter book by Greg Pizzoli called Baloney and Friends perfect for fans of Elephant and Piggie.
Reading List for Week of 1/27/2020
I didn’t get a chance to read Forever Glimmer Creek by Stacy Hackney and Chirp by Kate Messner so I definitely want to read both of those then it depends on what’s announced at the ALA Youth Media Awards. If I need to read something quickly, I do that. Plus, with close to 80 galleys currently on my shelves, I need to start churning through these titles and get some new reviews written!
