It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 1/6/2020
Last Week
It’s been another busy week, with New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day in the middle week and work to bookend them both, I haven’t had much time to read. I’m currently in the middle of The Diamond Age: Or, A Young Lady’s Illustrated Primer by Neal Stephenson per a suggestion from a colleague at work. It’s pretty far out of my wheelhouse and 500 pages long, so it’s taking me a little while to get through it! I’ve also started Queen of the Sea by Dylan Meconis which is a fascinating historical fiction graphic novel that I’m really enjoying. Here’s hoping to a better schedule for more reading this week!
Reading List for Week of 1/6/2020
I’ve got a couple of books that I can’t wait to read sitting on my shelf right now! I’ve heard great things about Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, a debut title form 2019. My coworker also gushed about Lovely War by Julie Berry, a YA novel narrated by the Greek god, Aphrodite set during World War I and World War II. I’m very intrigued by this story, so it’s on my to-read list for this week too! Plus, I’ve got a handful of ARCs that need to be read in the next week so that I can review them here!
