It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 12/23/19
Last Week
Finally! I put more of an emphasis on my reading life this past week and it definitely paid off! I got through a great stack of books and feel a little bit better with what I want to accomplish before the end of the year.
I finished up All the Greys on Greene Street by Laura Tucker, read The Line Tender by Kate Allen, Maybe He Just Likes You by Barbara Dee, This Promise of Change: One Girl’s Story in the Fight for School Equality by Jo Ann Allen Boyce, Emmy In the Key of Code by Aimee Lucido and also read Lalani of the Distant Sea by Erin Entrada Kelly.
Reading List for Week of 12/23/19
An extremely quick trip to my parents’ home for Christmas and working the other days during Christmas “break” leaves very little time to read. I’m going to take home Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky by Kwame Mbalia and Miracle Creek by Angie Kim (an adult novel). The likely hood that I get more than a few pages into either of the books is slim, but I can’t travel without at least one book with me. And seriously, who only ever takes just one book with them? It’s better to have a backup book too.
