It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 10/28/19
Last Week
Since vacation in September, I’ve found a great balance of reading in my life. I tend to need to read more the more stressed out I feel. And I’ve been quite stressed out at work lately, which means that I need to balance my reading time so that I don’t get super cranky. This week was pretty good with a mix of middle grade titles and a few graphic novels as well.
This week I was able to read:
- Hex Vet: Witches in Training by Sam Davies
- Midas by Ryan North, Shelli Paroline, and Braden Lamb
- Beverly, Right Here by Kate DiCamillo
- The Space We’re In by Katya Balen
- The Distance Between Me and the Cherry Tree by Paola Peretti
Reading List for Week of 10/28/19
I have a few more titles I’d love to get to this week, before I take some time to really dive into the beginning of the “best of” lists and make sure I haven’t missed some major release this year. No matter how much I read, there are always plenty of titles that I just don’t get to, but I try to spend the last couple of months of the year grabbing anything that I’ve missed!
My booklist includes:
- Doc and the Detective in Graveyard Treasure by Tim Tingle
- Take the Mic: Fictional Stories of Everyday Resistance edited by Bethany C. Morrow
- Spies: The Secret Showdown Between America and Russia by Mac Favreau
- When the Stars Lead to You by Ronni Davis
What are you reading this week? Or more importantly, what have you absolutely loved that I just haven’t gotten to yet? You know what I like!
