It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 9/2/19
Last Week
As I suspected, its been a slow reading week. Getting ready for a long weekend away from home and then actually traveling took up a lot of my time. I did pick up Orange for the Sunsets by Tina Athaide and was fascinated by the historical fiction title as I know very little about Ugandan history. During the late 1970s, Idi Amin was in power in Uganda and forced over 500,000 Indian with British passports out of Uganda. He promised economic prosperity for the Africans living in Uganda. But, sadly that’s not what happened and even more people died under his reign.
Reading List for Week of 9/2/19
Since I didn’t get to too much this past week, I still have most of the books on my TBR list. Plus, I’m really trying to get to some Netgalley titles that I forgot I had. Here’s what I’ve got upcoming:
- The Line Tender by Kate Allen
- Focused by Alyson Gerber
- Beyond the Green by Sharlee Glenn
- Roll With It by Jamie Sumner
- More to the Story by Hen Khan
