Say My Name: Importance of Names
The school year has already started for a lot of kids and if it hasn’t yet, the school year is right around the corner. It’s important to share books about the excitement and anxiety of starting a new school year or riding the bus to school. But, you don’t often see a booklist about the importance of a child’s name. The significance of a name comes from a child’s family, their culture, their history, and sometimes just because their parents’ love it. Say My Name: Importance of Names is a list full of picture books about the significance of a child’s name.
