It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 5/20/19
Last Week
I’m continuing my quest to finish 18 books this month as part of my Bookémon Badgeathon. It was a busy week with a great long weekend spending time with extended family for my cousin’s wedding! Even with the busy-ness of the weekend, I finished four more titles and am halfway through another title too!
- The Spirit of Cattail County by Victoria Piontek
- Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor
- One Mixed-Up Night by Catherine Newman
- Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett is a 500-page fantasy and not something I would normally read, but I am halfway through and enjoying how different it is!
Reading List for Week of 5/20/19
I’ve only got 3.5 more books to read to finish up my readathon! I feel pretty good about what I’ve already read and gotten the chance to clear off my TBR list as well as read books I normally wouldn’t have picked up. The last three books I have are:
- Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte
- The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman
- It’s Trevor Noah: Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood (Adapted for Young Readers) by Trevor Noah
