Blogging From A to Z Challenge – Social Justice
Social justice “is the equal access to wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society.” Something that many countries across the globe continue to struggle with because it something that affects everyone. It’s not just to eliminate racism or sexism, but ageism, the opportunities afforded to the wealthy over the poor, the difficulty in getting assistance when needed. Each and every person should be afforded basic human rights as defined by the United Nations, but realistically that is not the case. Here are twelve books about characters facing their own social justice situations.
